NADI Willer has announced a new MaaS solution to reduce congestion in KL.

NADI WILLER Sdn. Bhd., the company most known for the Transational and Plusliner bus lines is now taking on a new role as a provider of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solutions in Malaysia. The company has announced new initiatives to improve public transport convenience and reduce traffic congestion in the Klang Valley. By delivering Japanese-quality MaaS, the company aims to encourage greater use of buses and rail while reducing reliance on private cars.

Kuala Lumpur faces chronic traffic congestion due to limited first- and last-mile connectivity. Many commuters rely on private vehicles, family pick-ups, or e-hailing instead of public transport. Safety concerns over bus travel have also added to these challenges.

To address these issues, NADI WILLER has developed a MaaS platform that integrates mass transit with mobi DRT (Demand Responsive Transit) -- an on-demand service offering flexible, shared rides that connect passengers seamlessly to public transport hubs.

Since its launch, mobi DRT has expanded to 26 service areas with more than 400,000 passengers and 100,000 registered members. A recent survey showed that 88% of users rely on mobi DRT to connect to public transport, reducing dependency on cars. Before mobi DRT, nearly 48% of riders relied on family pick-ups while 24% drove private cars.
