Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford has announced her engagement, leaving her fans delighted.

The TV star, who has been a staple on the Channel 4 series since 2017 with brother Pete Sandiford, took to Instagram to reveal her partner Ben Mckeown had proposed.

Sharing a picture surrounded by engagement balloons and snaps from luxury spa Galgorm Resort in Northern Ireland, the couple penned: "WE'RE ENGAGED" with a heart and ring emoji.

Sophie also included a snap of her stunning sapphire engagement ring, which is on a silver band and surrounded by diamonds.

The television star's 577K followers were quick to respond to the post, as well as her co-stars and some celebrity followers.

Former Emmerdale star, Natalie Ann Jamieson, wrote: "Ahhhh congrats gorgeous girl!" while TOWIE star Amy Childs put: "So happy for you xxxx".
