Sainsbury's shoppers can get £15 'Ugg-like' slippers for free if they're quick - Yorkshire Live

Shoppers at Tu at Sainsbury's are snapping up a pair of affordable slippers that bear a striking resemblance to a pricier pair. One customer was so pleased with the 'perfect size' and 'comfortable' style that they purchased three pairs.

The Sage Green Stitch Detail Slippers usually retail for £15, but shoppers via TopCashback can essentially get them for free. While it may sound complex, the process is actually straightforward and doesn't cost anything.

The discount website offers new members a free £15 sign-up bonus when they spend £15 or more, in addition to cashback on all online orders. This effectively makes the slippers cost nothing once all discounts have been applied.

Shoppers will need to spend £15 initially, but this amount will be swiftly returned to their TopCashback account and can be transferred to any bank or PayPal account. Existing TopCashback members won't qualify for the £15 sign-up bonus but will still receive cashback on their purchase. This reduces the price of the slippers to £14.38 after cashback, provided shoppers make their purchase through this specific link.

Available in small, medium, and large sizes, these sage green slippers are a fashionable addition to your seasonal footwear collection, reports the Manchester Evening News. They're currently showing as 'in demand' on the site as shoppers rush to take up the deal.

They feature a warm fleece lining and stitch detailing on the upper. Whilst not entirely identical, they bear a striking resemblance to the Ugg Tasman II, which cost a hefty £115.

Constructed with the same slip-on, low-profile design as the original Tasman, this updated version showcases the brand's distinctive UGGbraid around the collar, a luxurious sheepskin lining, and gentle sugarcane EVA for maximum comfort.

Meanwhile, customers can secure 20% off the Suede Faux Fur Lined Mule Clog Slippers at Marks and Spencer, now priced at £23.60 down from £29.50. They feature a comfortable flat sole and enclosed heel for stability, whilst the simple slip-on design provides hassle-free wearability.

As an alternative, New Look's Tan Faux Suede Slipper Boots are available for £19.99. Ideal for relaxing indoors, these slippers feature a cosy lining that helps maintain warmth on cold nights.

Returning to Tu, the Sage Green Stitch Detail Slippers have garnered one review thus far. The feedback states: "Bought three pairs as the size was perfect and comfortable. Highly recommended."

One point worth noting, though, is that the Tu slippers are crafted from artificial sheepskin. Those preferring footwear made from genuine materials would be better suited to the pricier Ugg Tasman II shoes.
