Taylor Swift is turning 35 on December 13, ringing in a major birthday milestone just after The Eras Tour came to a close.
Although the past few months have been a whirlwind for the pop star, between performing around the globe on the highest-grossing tour ever and releasing her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, in April, that hasn't stopped her from celebrating.
In honor of Swift's birthday, here is a look back at her past parties and memorable moments.
Swift's 21st birthday party has become an immortalized moment, courtesy of the singer documenting the events in her 2012 song, "The Moment I Knew." The track had reportedly been about then-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, who notoriously didn't show up to be with her.
She went on to share more details about that night, following the release of "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" in her 2021 re-recorded album, Red (Taylor's Version). "It's supposed to be fun, turning 21," Swift lamented on the track. The corresponding music video finds Sadie Sink portraying a younger Swift. In one scene, Sink blows out candles on a cake, as she looks around the party for an older love interest that isn't there.
Swift honored her 25th birthday in 2014 by throwing a star-studded event at her New York apartment. "So this is being 25 ... #WHAT #bestbirthdayEVER," she captioned in a now-deleted Instagram photo according to People. In the photos, the pop star posed in front of balloons with Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, and more famous faces.
Just like Swift's 25th birthday, she celebrated turning 30 in 2019 after performing songs from her Lover era at NYC's Jingle Ball.
"Honestly spending my 30th with the fans who have made my life what it is at jingle ball, then throwing the most aggressive holiday party known to womankind... I just.. seriously feel so lucky for you all and will spend forever trying to find ways to say thank you. *cries in Christmas tree*," Swift posted.
Swift was joined by Jack Antonoff, Gigi Hadid, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and more of her inner circle.
Last year, Swift headed for a night out in NYC alongside Lively to party for her 34th birthday. Although Swift had been dating Travis Kelce for a few months at the time, he did not make an appearance at the event. The pictures found Swift celebrating with her usual group of friends, but there were also some fun new guests like Swift's tour openers Sabrina Carpenter and Gracie Abrams.
