Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix scored a brace as Portugal demolished Armenia 5-0 on Saturday in their 2026 World Cup qualifiers, extending their perfect start in Group F.
The Nations League champions had little difficulty neutralising Armenia's limited attacking threat and, after sealing a fourth goal, rotated key players while showcasing a more creative, free-flowing style of play.

Felix opened the scoring after 10 minutes, heading home from a Joao Cancelo cross. Ronaldo doubled the advantage in the 21st minute, brushing past his marker to net his 139th international goal. Cancelo added a third just after the half-hour mark, finishing from a Felix cut-back.
Ronaldo then produced the highlight of the night, a minute into the second half, unleashing a thunderous long-range volley that left Armenia goalkeeper Henri Avagyan helpless.
Felix completed the rout just past the hour with a clever back-heel finish after reacting quickly to a rebound inside the box.
Portugal pressed for a sixth, but Avagyan pulled off two late saves to keep the scoreline at 5-0 as the referee ended the contest promptly in stoppage time.
