Newport News: Thursday's collection will be picked up Monday, Dec. 2. All regularly scheduled collections for the week of Dec. 2 will be delayed one day.

Hampton Roads Transit: On Wednesday, bus, light rail, ferry, Base Express, paratransit and ridesharing services will operate on a regular schedule. The Downtown Norfolk Transit Center information booth will close at 4:30 p.m.

On Thursday, most bus routes will operate on a Sunday schedule, but some will operate on a modified Sunday schedule. For more information, visit gohrt.com. Light rail, Base Express, paratransit and ridesharing services will operate on a Sunday schedule. The ferry will not operate. Administrative facilities, transit center information booths, and customer service center will be closed.
