Shaun White took the plunge -- this time off the slopes -- and popped the question to The Vampire Diaries alum Nina Dobrev.

On Instagram, the Olympic snowboarder shared footage of his sweet proposal at N.Y.C.'s Golden Swan restaurant, where he got down on one knee in front of a white rose archway with candles and white petals on the floor.

Before asking her to marry him, White said, "Being with you is the adventure of my life" and "I love you." Dobrev said yes, but in all the excitement, White nearly forgot to put the ring on her finger, prompting him to drop down on one knee all over again.

"Still floating after this night! I'm beside myself to be with this amazing woman and to be joining her beautiful family!!" White captioned the post. "I'm so thankful for the life lessons, gratitude, adventure and love that Nina has taught me, and I only wish to show her the same in return. I guess we are doing the dam thing, baby!🍾 Anyways... I'm not crying, you're crying 😅😭."
