The beloved show came to an end after reports of a behind-the-scenes spat between the couple and crew members.
After the cancellation and cutting of ties, fans were left unsure about the future of the chateau programming on the British channel.
According to The Sun, the brand new competition will give contestants the chance to win their very own French castle as well as a cash prize worth up to £250,000.
The new show, which is being produced by Spark Media North, will be called Chateau DIY: Win the Dream, and involves 24 contestants going head-to-head in a series of challenges.
Contestants will need to demonstrate their design, renovation and business skills and will be judged on their every move throughout the series.

Teasing the new reality show, Channel 4's Jayne Stanger said: "It's the perfect mix of glorious escapism and nail-biting competition."
This comes after Channel 4 announced that it had cut ties with Dick and Angel Strawbridge over an apparently foul-mouthed disagreement with Escape to the Chateau bosses.
It was reported that Angel was left furious after being left waiting to film before launching into a tirade against one of the crew members.
