The Presidency claims that Ramaphosa is 'accustomed to DA' attacks after the party resisted the NDPP selection panel

President Cyril Ramaphosa's office says it is unfazed by the Democratic Alliance's latest criticism of his NDPP selection panel, insisting the president is confident in his appointments.

The Democratic Alliance (DA), according to the Presidency, criticises everything President Cyril Ramaphosa does and is accustomed to such responses.

Ramaphosa's spokesperson made this statement in response to the DA's contention that the president's panel for selecting the next National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) lacked adequate legal knowledge.

Presidential spokesperson Vincent Magwenya stated during a press conference held at the Union Buildings on Monday that the Presidency had not yet provided an official statement in response to the DA's comments.
