The National Assembly today passed a resolution strongly condemning the recent remarks of Indian Defence Minister asserting that Sindh may one day return to India.

The resolution moved by Asad Alam Niazi emphasized that such statements are historically incorrect, politically irresponsible and contrary to the recognized geopolitical realities of Indo-Pak region.

The House reaffirmed that Sindh is integral part of sovereign state of Pakistan. It urged all individuals and institutions to refrain from making misleading, biased and destabilizing statements.

Four bills were laid before the House today. These included: The Karachi Port Trust Amendment Bill, 2025, Islamabad Capital Territory Senior Citizens Amendment Bill, 2025, the National Fund for Culture Heritage Amendment bill 2025 and the National College of Arts Institute Amendment Bill, 2025.

Responding to a Calling Attention Notice, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said that the government has taken steps to improve the environment of the federal capital, Islamabad.

He said action has been taken against smoke emitting vehicles as well as state of the art transport system has been introduced in the capital city.

The House today passed three bills.

These included: The King Hamad University of Nursing and Associated Medical Sciences Bill, 2025, The Daanish Schools Authority Bill, 2025 and The Qanun-e-Shahadat Amendment Bill, 2025. These bills have already been passed by the Senate.

The House will now meet tomorrow at eleven am.
