Lyn Maguire (Lynda) was born in London, England, and passed November24th in Parksville, BC at the age of 80.

Lyn was active in Unity Church, enjoyed hiking with the Whiners, dancing, fitness classes, and aquasize. She was a Port Theatre volunteer, a member of 2 Probus groups, and she loved orange cats!

Despite a diagnosis of breast cancer in her 40's, she kept active and visited her family in England several times.

In 2010, she met Roy Vernon, the love of her life, and they enjoyed several happy years. Unfortunately, Roy developed Alzheimer's and passed in 2019.

Lyn's cancer masticisized in 2021, but with help from Palliative care, she was able to move to Berwick Parksville in 2023 where she was happy to see the ocean.

Lyn leaves her sister Jean in UK; daughter Sarah Ann; son Jamie; granddaughter Hannah and many friends.
