Purple alert issued for missing woman last seen near Walmart in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) -- The Boynton Beach Police Department issued a purple alert for a missing woman who was last seen near a Walmart last Friday.

Darlene Rizzo, who is believed to be missing and endangered, was last seen at around 6 p.m. at the Walmart, located at 3200 Old Boynton Road. Police believe she may be driving an RV with the front right bumper damaged that's bearing a temporary tag DTP0791.

Rizzo, 58, is described as being around 5'1" and weighing 95 pounds. Police say she requires medication.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), a purple alert is issued for adults who are suffering from mental or cognitive disabilities.
