The group stage of the Champions League 2025/26 starts this Tuesday (16th), and OneFootball brings you EVERYTHING you need to know.

🏆 Who will be the champion? Check out the information below and leave your comment!

The Champions League group stage will have eight rounds, with matches mainly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - the first round also includes games on Thursday.

Most matches will be played at 4 PM (Brasília time), but the UCL will also have games at 1:45 PM and 11:30 AM.

The 36 clubs will face EIGHT opponents, determined by a draw at the end of August. The top eight advance directly to the round of 16.

Another 16 teams (from ninth to 24th place) will go to the playoffs to determine the other eight teams in the round of 16. From there, it's knockout until the semifinals.

The final of the Champions League 2025/26 - in a single match - will be played on May 30, 2026, a Saturday, at the Puskás Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

Real Madrid is by far the biggest UCL champion, with 15 titles (Milan is second with seven, but won't play in 2025/26).

For this reason, Real enters as one of the favorites. But the Spanish giant will face heavy competition to seek 'La 16'.

PSG (UCL champion in 2024/25), Barcelona (La Liga), Liverpool (Premier League), and Chelsea (Club World Cup) arrive in good form.

The first round, therefore, will be played over THREE days. And there are already BIG MATCHES right from the start, like Bayern Munich vs. Chelsea and Newcastle vs. Barcelona.

Max will broadcast all the games. Space, TNT, and SBT will broadcast some games.
