The Minnesota Golden Gophers women's basketball team moved to 10-0 on the season as they easily handled North Florida 90-44 at Williams Arena on Tuesday night.
The Gophers defense shined again, allowing the Ospreys to shoot just 19% from beyond the arc (4-for-21).
Minnesota also put on a display of well-executed team basketball, dishing out 22 assists on 34 made field goals.

The Golden Gophers had six players score in double figures, led by Grace Grocholski's and Annika Stewart's 15 points each. Sophie Hart also added 12 points and Alexsia Rose led the team with seven assists.
Minnesota jumped out to a 33-6 lead after just one quarter and never looked back. North Florida didn't score more than 16 points in a quarter as the Gophers held the Ospreys to 28.6% shooting from the floor and forcing 20 turnovers in the game.
The Gophers bench contributed 40 points in the victory.
Minnesota will open its Big Ten schedule next on Sunday in Lincoln as the they take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers at 1 p.m.
