I sometimes even heard hallucinations and had mild panic episodes". He also revealed that in order to deal with these issues, he had to go through extreme measures. "I started putting on headphones and cutting off outside noise, doing absolutely nothing right up until the moment before going on stage -- just listening to quiet jazz or similar music. While draining the water, I submerge myself and hold my breath. I try to hold it until the water is completely gone. When I finally exhale and breathe again, it feels like being born again.
