LUNCHTIME WALKING CLUB -- The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Lunchtime Walking Club to encourage folks to stand up, get moving and stay active throughout the year. The Lunchtime Walking Club will take place on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. from Sept. 3 through Oct. 15. The program is free; no registration is required and is open to walkers of all ages. Simply show up at the Kingsport Greenbelt parking area at Riverfront Park with your best pair of walking shoes and enjoy a stroll along the Holston River.
