The six men who attacked Barstool Sports personality Paul Bissonnette at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona over the weekend have been identified.
Sunday night, the Barstool Sports and Turner Sports personality was getting dinner at Houston's in Scottsdale. While Bissonnette was trying to enjoy his meal, he noticed that some men were harassing the restaurant's staff. The former NHL bruiser intervened, trying to calm things down. But things only escalated, as the six men - believed to be on a golfing trip - began to fight and attack the 39-year-old media personality.
"I go to dinner at this place called Houston's - I go there like three or four times a week. The staff's incredible, the food's incredible and, just like good people, I love going there," he said.
"At one point there was a bit of a ruckus going on in the bar - it was a bunch of drunk golfers. Things obviously continued to escalate. They asked one guy to leave, and then one guy kept getting in the manager's face, put his hands on him, and that went on for probably 30-45 seconds. You could tell he was a little shocked and surprised and stunned.
"It's a family restaurant, I don't think there was anybody in there who could go maybe help him out. So I went over, I just grabbed the guy's arm that was on [the manager]. I said 'Sir, if you continue to harass and assault the staff, we're gonna have problems.' And then they just started chucking. So, it escalated extremely quickly. I think it was seven guys I fought with throughout the course of the restaurant all the way into the parking lot over to CVS."
Bissonnette, who co-hosts the "Spittin Chiclets" podcast with Ryan Whitney, has promised to "ruin" the lives of the six men, once their names and identities are released.
Well, they're out now.
TMZ Sports reported on Tuesday afternoon that the six men who attacked Bissonnette are:
Henry Mesker, John Carroll, William Carroll, Danny Bradley, Edward Jennings and Sean Daley.
Their mugshots are out, too.
All six men were booked on assault counts. Some were also booked on disorderly conduct charges, while Daley was accused of committing a felony.
Bissonnette appeared on his podcast on Monday evening to discuss what happened. He was hospitalized following the fight, but later released, not sustaining any life-threatening injuries.
