Prince William and Princess Kate are ringing in Valentine's Day with a sweet (and rare) display of public affection.

Today on Instagram, William and Kate shared a new photo, which appears to be taken from the same video shoot that the couple did to announce the end of Kate's chemotherapy treatment last September. The sweet snap shows the couple sitting on a picnic blanket in the woods. They match in light-blue ensembles, with Kate wearing a denim shirtdress and white sneakers while William wears a blue polo shirt, navy shorts, and sneakers. William holds Kate's hands and kisses her on the cheek; in response, Kate beams brightly.

The video that the photo is taken from also included cameos from the Waleses' three children -- Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 -- as well as Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.

"As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment," Kate said in the video at the time. "The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we've had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown."

Since announcing her cancer diagnosis back in March, Kate has made a handful of public appearances. Now that she is officially in remission, the princess has begun to slowly return to her royal duties, including her work in the early childhood development space.
