A woman who attempted to attack Perak ruler Sultan Nazrin Shah during the recent state-level National Day celebration was charged in the Ipoh Magistrate's Court today with using criminal force against him.

Bernama reported that Nurshazwani Afni Mohamad Zorki, 41, nodded in understanding after the charge was read before Magistrate Harith Mazlan, but no plea was recorded.
