An update has been issued on the progress of a major dual carriageway project in Wiltshire.
Work has been ongoing for months to turn the final sections of the A350 bypass at Chippenham into a dual carriageway.
The £32 million project has been taking place on multiple sections of the busy route between Bumpers Farm and Lackham Roundabouts.
In a new update for residents, Wiltshire Council has confirmed that the major scheme is still on track to be completed next winter.
The council confirmed this in a video showing some of the latest works being carried out on the road.
A spokesperson said: "Our project to dual the final part of the A350 in Chippenham is on track to be completed in winter 2026.
"The £32 million project is being led by our contractor MJ Church.
"The A350 is a vital route for Wiltshire and the wider region, one the project is complete it will increase capacity, reduce delays and improve traffic flow.
"It will also improve access to the Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate."
Work on the project finally began this spring after significant delays while the council waited for approval from the Department for Transport.
