Her latest movie, The Last Showgirl, just opened in theaters and is already getting a ton of awards show buzz.
In fact, the 57-year-old was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as an older showgirl whose show abruptly ended after a decades-long run, and there's already talk of her being nominated for an Oscar.
Pamela appears without makeup in the movie, but she's also known to be makeup-free off-camera over the past few years.
Here's what she's shared about going makeup-free -- and her most stunning barefaced red carpet looks.
Pamela was known for years for her vampy look. But she previously told Elle that she decided to change her look after her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died from breast cancer.
"She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it's just better for me not to wear makeup," Pamela said. She called the move "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too."
"Because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it's just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone's doing," she said.
The Baywatch alum got a lot of attention in September 2023 for going to Paris Fashion Week without makeup.
"An adventure in Paris with fresh eyes... 🤍," she captioned an Instagram post featuring several shots of herself at shows. "There is beauty in self acceptance, imperfection, and love."
Pamela later told Allure that she didn't think people would notice she was going makeup-free.
"I just thought, 'I'm not competing with all these beautiful people,'" she said. "I like that it resonated but it wasn't my intention to... thinking everyone's going to get into this thing. But as I noticed it was resonating, I thought, this is really great."
Pamela told Allure that she's tried Botox and filler, but hasn't done anything like that for three or four years.
"My skin is very sensitive," she says. "I did Fraxel a little bit on my decolletage and it went black, so I've always been scared of stuff like that."
Pamela also said her "eyebrows just fall immediately" when she's done Botox, making her look like a different person. "I thought, 'Why am I doing this shit?'" she said. "So, I'm free and clear of that stuff and I look like myself again."
Still, she said she colors her hair with a boxed dye. "Always have," she added.
