The Hindu Panchayat has condemned the remarks of the Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh regarding Sindh province at a protest demonstration organized outside Hyderabad Press Club on Sunday.
Dr Amreshi Thakur, Teerath Das Lohana, Ramesh Kumar and Bhesham Kumar Lohana, in their speeches, denounced Sindh's comments as delusional and an attempt to divert the public's attention away from the issues that had been actually perplexing the Indian government.
They said not only would Sindh always remain a part of Pakistan, but the lost parts of Sindh, which had been occupied by India, would also be taken back from the neighbouring country. The speakers contended that the Modi government time and again raised controversy so that they could find a refuge from their public, which was getting more and more critical of their bad performance, corruption and inflation.
They asserted that all the minority communities in Pakistan had complete freedom to practise their respective religions while all the citizens of the country lived in complete harmony. On the other hand, not only minorities among people belonging to the majority Hindus also felt insecure in India, they added.
Holding placards and banners, the protesters chanted slogans condemning the atrocities of the Indian armed forces in the occupied Kashmir. The protesters vowed to defend the country with their lives and blood if Modi's government dared to initiate a war once again.
