Ole Miss smashed three home runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to wrestle the lead away from Jacksonville State and went on to beat the Gamecocks 7-4 Friday night in the opening game of a three-game weekend series in Oxford, Miss.
The Gamecocks took a 4-2 lead in the top of the third inning after Grayson Ashe drew a bases-loaded walk and Sam Silas was hit by a pitch with the bags still full.
