McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has landed a feature in the October issue of British Vogue, following in seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton's footsteps.
British Vogue has shared an insight into Norris's shoot for the feature, in which he channels James Dean with timeless but bold fashion pieces and poses alongside what looks like the iconic McLaren MP4/4, driven by Ayrton Senna in 1988.
He discusses the 2025 F1 championship, his debut in the series at 19, joining the McLaren academy at 17, his relationship with Portuguese actor and influencer Margarida Corceiro and where his love for motorsport began, among other topics.
The 25-year-old is not the only F1 driver to land a spot in the magazine. Hamilton, who joined Ferrari at the start of the 2025 season, featured on the cover of the May 2025 issue, coinciding with his stint as co-chair of the Met Gala.
"Firstly, it's a real honour and privilege and something that I've been working on for a long, long time to get into that position," Hamilton said at the time. "Just getting to go to the Met Gala was always something really special."
He sat alongside Vogue's editor Anna Wintour at the gala. "Having seen the hosts before, I remember I would look on and think 'it would be cool one day to be a host'. Anna's been so gracious as to include me within that group."
Norris is currently fighting for his first championship victory against his McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri. Heading into this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Briton trails Piastri by 31 points.
"You have a whole team trying to cheer for both of you, but only one can win. It's stressful for the whole team," Norris explained to British Vogue about the championship fight.
"I want to enjoy every minute that I can," Norris added, "because in 30 years I'll be retired, I'll be sitting on the couch, I'll maybe have kids that are racing. I also think in a hundred years no one's really gonna care about anything I've done."
The British driver previously claimed that the title fight will be decided by whoever makes the fewest mistakes.
"I think it's very close between us. Oscar's certainly been a bit more comfortable than I have this season, and that's the way it is," Norris explained in Austria. "And I've had to try and improve and step up more than what I've had to in the past, simply because of some of the struggles and difficulties that I've had with the car this year.
"But it's also my job to drive whatever car I get given. So yes, it's been tough, and Oscar's been doing a good job. It's been exciting to see how close it is, and good for the team as well, because I think that unlocks another step that not many other teams have. But yeah, at the minute, that's how I would probably say it."
