'Christmas Tails' album to raise funds for RSPCA Stapeley Grange

Big-hearted musician Mark Sheeky is spreading festive cheer with a new charity album 'Christmas Tails' to raise funds for the RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre and Cattery.

It follows Mark's successful 2023 project 'Snow Business', which brought together 12 independent musicians to raise money for local homeless charity LATH.

Mark is now coordinating another creative collaboration with around a dozen local artists and bands writing and recording all-new Christmas songs.

'Christmas Tails' will go on sale exclusively on Bandcamp from Friday November 28th until the end of January 2026 at https://marksheeky.bandcamp.com/album/christmas-tails

All proceeds will support Stapeley Grange's work caring for sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals, as well as cats and kittens in need of new homes.

The Nantwich centre, on London Road, plays a crucial role in wildlife rehabilitation and animal welfare across the region.

Mark has organised three community events to launch the album.

There will be a cover design day at Crewe Market Hall tomorrow (Wednesday 29th October) from 11am-3pm as part of Creative Crewe, where children can help create artwork for the album.

There will be a stall at the Stapeley Grange Christmas Fair on Sunday December 7th and a live music performance at Crewe Library on Tuesday December 9th, featuring some of the album's artists.

Mark said: "Christmas Tails is all about bringing people together through music to make a real difference for animals in need.

"Stapeley Grange does amazing work rescuing and caring for wildlife and pets, and this is our way of giving something back while sharing some festive joy."
