A WOMAN who's gearing up for her wedding has left people in hysterics after revealing what her new name will be.

Ash will be tying the knot with fiancé Lewis in the coming weeks, and has been sharing preparations on her social media pages.

And in a recent post, she took part in the viral "surname challenge", as she shared how taking on her husband-to-be's surname will turn her moniker into something hilarious.

"Are you excited to take his surname?" she wrote over the top of the TikTok post, which began with a snap of her and her man underneath a heart-shaped arch.

In the next image, she revealed that while her surname is Burnett, her fiancé's is Brown.

Meaning that her married name will be Ash Brown.

Pointing out the similarity between her married moniker and a popular McDonald's snack, she hilariously posted a picture of a hash brown in a veil.

The TikTok has been watched over 757k times since Ash posted it, with the comments section immediately filled with people left giggling by the admission.

"I am kind of jealous," the official McDonald's account commented on Ash's post.
