These "Foot Keyboards" aim ⁤to expand control options beyond customary hands-based input, offering potential advantages in various game genres. The keyboards feature Cherry MX Silent⁤ Black⁤ switches and ⁣a 3D-printed base designed for cozy foot operation.

The Foot Keyboard consists of a base with Cherry⁢ MX Silent Black switches,activated by pressing down with the big toe and pinkie toe. Models range from three to four buttons, offering a limited but potentially strategic set of inputs. It connects to the PC via wired, Bluetooth, or 2.4GHz⁤ connections, boasting a 1,000Hz polling rate and a response time ⁤of 10ms or less.

Varmilo designed the base with a⁢ raised section to support the⁤ foot arch, aiming for comfort during extended use.the 25mm ⁢diameter ABS keycaps are positioned for easy access with the toes, and the device is intended to be used barefoot or with socks.
