60 platforms for Ausdirect

60 platforms for Ausdirect

03.12.2025 Australian rental company Ausdirect Hire has taken delivery of 60 new aerial work platforms, all with 'TIACS' QR codes to provide free mental health counselling for those working in construction.

The platforms include JCB, LGMG and Genie scissor lifts as well as LGMG and Genie boom lifts. The TIACS QR codes provide access to free mental health counselling services specifically for those employed in the Australian construction industry when scanned by smartphone or tablet.

Managing director Damien Connolly said: "It's incredible to see our capabilities grow and to be able to offer even more equipment to our clients, but there's something that ties all these new units together - each one proudly sports our TIACS QR code."

"For anyone who doesn't know, scanning the TIACS QR code on the side of the machine makes it easier than ever for tradesmen /'tradies' and truckies - self explanatory - on job sites to get access to free, qualified counselling via text or phone. No waiting lists, no barriers - just support when it's needed most. Earlier this year Ausdirect took delivery of its first LGMG telehandler with the QR code

Founded in 2018, AusDirect is based in Brisbane, and runs a fleet of telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, boom and trailer lifts, along with spider and mast booms.
