Kiku Sharda remains part of The Great Indian Kapil Show despite rumors after his argument with Krushna Abhishek. He will also appear in Ashneer Grover's Rise and Fall.
Fans of The Great Indian Kapil Show were left shocked and disheartened on Thursday when it was reported that Kiku Sharda has quit the show. It was said that Kiku, who is now participating in Ashneer Grover's Rise and Fall, decided to part ways from Kapil's Netflix show after his argument with Krushna Abhishek. However, an insider has now revealed that it is not the case.
As reported by SCREEN, Kiku Sharda decided to participate in Rise and Fall only after completing the entire season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. "Kiku is not quitting the show, you are going to see him in the upcoming episodes too. He has wrapped up shooting for the show before starting his next project. Kiku is very much a part of The Great Indian Kapil Show," a source cited by the entertainment portal said.
On Thursday, Kiku Sharda took to his Instagram handle and shared an official poster of himself as a contestant on the Ashneer Grover-hosted show. "Ruler ban ne ke liye chahe kitni bhi hustle karni pade, your Kiku will do it 😉✨," the comedian wrote in the caption.
Soon after the poster was shared, Sunil Grover, who works with Kiku in Kapil Sharma's show, rushed to the comments section to send wishes. "You will Rise and Surprise," Sunil wrote.
It should also be noted that reports of Kiku quitting Kapil Sharma's show come days after he had an ugly argument on the set with his co-actor Krushna Abhishek.
A video of Kiku and Krushna's alleged fight had also surfaced on social media. It began with Kiku saying, "Timepass kar raha hu?" To this, Krushna got upset and replied, "To phir thik hai aap karlo. Aap karlo, bhai koi problem nahi hai. Main jata hu yaha se." Kiku then told Krushna, "Baat yeh hai ke mujhe bulaya hai toh main apna khatam kar lona pehle." Krushna then said, "I love you and respect you, I don't want to raise my voice." The video ended with Kiku saying, "Raise voice ka baat nahi hai, aap isko galat tarike se leke jaa rahe hai."
