Here Are Some Possible Iowa Hawkeye Bowl Game Destinations

After a much-needed road win at Maryland on Saturday, it feels good to be a Hawkeye again! Iowa ended its three-game road losing streak and has fans dreaming of a warm-weather bowl game destination!

Iowa's 29-13 win over Maryland on Saturday wasn't flashy. It was vintage Iowa, Big Ten football. Hawk Central reports that Iowa had two 100-yard rushers on the day in Kaleb Johnson and Kamari Moulton. In his first career start quarterback Jackson Stratton was efficient and didn't turn the ball over. Kicker Drew Stevens went 5 for 5 on field goals. Kirk Ferentz and Iowa fans will take that formula every time if it means getting a win. Now, only one regular season game remains.

Iowa's regular-season finale happens on Black Friday as the Hawkeyes host the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Kickoff from Kinnick Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday night. With a win, Iowa will end the regular season at 8-4 which would open the door for some very intriguing bowl game matchups for the Hawkeyes. According to Hawk Central, here is just a sample of where some think Iowa will end up!

Iowa taking on an SEC team in a warm-weather location would be hard for Iowa fans to resist! But first things first. Take care of Nebraska on Friday!
