Flick, Laporta 'falling in love' with £61m-rated attacker as Barca plan move

Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz during next summer's transfer window.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz, with senior figures at Camp Nou said to be huge admirers of the Turkey international.

The 20-year-old made the move to Juventus from Bayern Munich in 2022, and he has represented the Old Lady on 86 occasions, scoring 16 goals and registering 13 assists in the process.

Yildiz was in excellent form for Juventus at the Club World Cup, scoring three goals and registering two assists in four appearances, while he has two assists in two Serie A matches at the start of this season.

The Turin giants have the Turkey international on a contract until June 2029, but there was speculation surrounding his future over the summer, with teams from the Premier League believed to have shown an interest.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona are also huge admirers of the youngster, and the Catalan outfit are considering making a move for the versatile attacker in 2026.

Barcelona 'considering move' for Juventus attacker Yildiz

The report claims that Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick and club president Joan Laporta are 'falling in love' with Yildiz, who is viewed as one of the best young talents in world football.

Juventus would allegedly be looking for a transfer fee of at least €70m (£61m) for Yildiz, but it is likely that the figure would increase if he continues to impress throughout the season.

Barcelona's financial situation would make a deal difficult at that price, but the Catalan outfit are allegedly confident that they could come up with the funds required to secure his signature.

Yildiz mainly operates off the left, but he is also capable of featuring through the middle and off the right, with his versatility said to be hugely attractive to Barcelona.

Is a 2026 deal for Yildiz realistic?

Juventus, for obvious reasons, will fight hard to retain Yildiz, but the Old Lady are not currently one of the top teams in Europe, which means that keeping hold of the attacker could be difficult.

Barcelona, on the other hand, would be able to offer Yildiz the chance to challenge for the biggest trophies, including the Champions League, so it would not be a surprise if his head was turned.

In truth, it is expected that Juve's asking price for the attacker will increase as the season develops, meaning that Barcelona would have to make some major sales in order for a deal to become possible, and Fermin Lopez continues to be linked with a big-money switch to the Saudi Pro League.
