Game time announced for Oregon Ducks Week 14 rivalry vs. Washington Huskies

For the first time in the history of this heated matchup between the Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies, the game will be played in Week 14, better known as "Rivalry Week" in the world of college football.

With the two teams' move from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten, this storied rivalry was moved to the end of the year, a week the previously held games against the Oregon State Beavers and Washington State Cougars for both teams in years past.

On Saturday, we learned that this highly-anticipated matchup will take place at 4:30 p.m., aired on NBC.

While this game may not technically be as "highly anticipated" in broader college football circles as it has in years past when both teams were ranked near the top of the nation, it's hard to argue that there is no game Oregon fans have been looking forward to more this season.

The Huskies have won the last three games against the Ducks, and Dan Lanning has never beaten Washington since taking over at Oregon. This is the year that is expected to change, though.

While Oregon is ranked No. 1 in the nation and is a strong national championship contender, Washington has had a brutal year following their loss in the national championship back in January. Former head coach Kalen DeBoer left to take the job for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and a large portion of their starting lineup left, either to the NFL or in the transfer portal.

The Huskies are 6-5 on the season, with tough losses to the likes of Washington State, Rutgers, Iowa, Indiana, and Penn State. Meanwhile, Oregon is 11-0 for the first time since 2010, and the second time in program history.

After how things transpired last year up in Seattle, and down in Las Vegas in the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game, you get a sense that the Ducks will be looking to seek some vengeance in this 2024 Cascade Clash.
