Vending machine representing charities returns to Westroads Mall, offering community chance to give back

There's a one-stop shop for giving back to your community this holiday season.The "Light the World Giving Machine" has returned to Westroads Mall. The machine has cards inside that represent different charities' needs both locally and internationally.There are things like $5 for shoes for a child in need all the way up to $200 for a change of locks for someone experiencing domestic violence.It's the first-year Project Harmony has taken part in the giving machine."So often times when families are giving during the holidays they might not necessarily see directly the impact. But when they're able to come to a machine the entire family sees firsthand. What they're supporting. And they can do it together as a family," said Angela Roeber the chief communications officer at Project Harmony.The machine is at Westroads Mall is located right outside of Von Maur.It will be there through the end of December.Click here for the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7
