Microsoft Corporation MSFT will release earnings results for its second quarter, after the closing bell on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025.

Analysts expect the Redmond, Washington-based company to report quarterly earnings at $3.12 per share, up from $2.93 per share in the year-ago period. Microsoft projects to report revenue of $68.80 billion for the recent quarter, compared to $62.02 billion a year earlier, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Investors will closely monitor Azure's performance as the cloud computing services business remains Microsoft's core growth engine. Analysts are anticipating Azure revenue growth of between 31% and 32% during the second quarter
