PHOTO COURTESY OF DILG TANZA, Cavite -- Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla and Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) Chairman Alexander Lopez led the ceremonial turnover of motorized boats and hydroponic systems during the launch of PRA's Sustainable Livelihood Initiatives here on Friday, Aug. 29.
A total of ten motorized boats were turned over to fisherfolk from Tanza and the West Philippine Sea.
As part of the PRA Hydroponics Program, 2,000 hydroponic systems will be distributed across Cavite, with 200 units allocated for all municipalities of Cavite.
The initiative aims to empower fisherfolk and local communities through sustainable livelihood programs that promote innovative practices in food security and enterprise development.
