St. Louis mayor's holiday card contest is back

ST. LOUIS - Calling all creative minds! The Mayor's Holiday Card Contest is returning this year. St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer is inviting all city residents to share their imaginative spirit.

Residents can display their unique artistic perspective on the holiday season to serve as cover art for Mayor Spencer's holiday cards. 10 winning entries will be chosen.

Submission guidelines:

● Name, Contact Number, Email Address, and Ward must be included with submissions

● Should be appropriate for all religions.

● Designs should be original, no larger than 8.5'' x 11''

● All artistic mediums are permitted, ensuring they can be rendered as a digital image

● Renderings must be in a PNG format

Submission themes:

● Festival of St. Louis - celebrating the diversity of St. Louis and the many identities that have come together from across the globe to make St. Louis their home.

● Laissez les bons temps rouler - celebrating the return of the Mayor's Mardi Gras Ball to City Hall this upcoming March.

● St. Louis Works - celebrating the many laborers who ensure the basic city services are addressed

● Sustainable Season - celebrating the sustainability efforts of St. Louis

Artwork must be received via email to the Mayor's Office no later than Friday, December 5, 2025, for consideration in the contest. The top 10 finalists will be invited to attend a special ceremony in the Mayor's Office. Top entries will be on display in City Hall during the holiday season.
