On tonight's Big Brother episode, it's Eviction night! There were three up on the block at the start. Kelley, Katherine, and Ava. It's been nothing but guys going home for the past four weeks and so tonight was bound to change that. Mickey was the original target of the week. Until she won Veto.
She saved herself by doing so and Vinny then chose to play it safe. His three nominees were all safe options. He tried to be smart by playing Keanu and Rachel against each other. It was success in that they were back to being enemies. It just didn't make sense for his game because it's not like he wanted to work with or be final two with either of them.
All it did was create enemies. Vinny worked with Keanu, Kelley, and Lauren. They all told him that Rachel was a big target. They said they wouldn't mind if he went after her. Rachel has also targeted him in the past. It would've made sense to go after her after everyone else stayed loyal to him.
Sure, he joined an alliance with her last week. It was at the last minute and after Lauren saved him from being Rachel's target. There was no reason to go after Kelley. They literally created a final two on day one. He didn't have to go after Katherine because she never went against him.
Ava was at least understandable. She went after him. She was also well-protected. She has a lot of friends in the house and so targeting Rachel would just have made sense.
Rachel wouldn't survive against anyone else because they all saw her as a threat. Even those she made alliances with. Vinny protecting her was so dumb. It also burned his friends one too many times. Kelley was furious with him. Keanu said this was the third betrayal. Yet, Keanu still wants to work with Vinny. Keanu won't have the numbers without him.
It's not why he confronted Vinny or gave him a pep talk. He said he had no one else if he didn't have him and so he did his best to win over Vinny. It was too late for the nominations, it wasn't too late for their partnership. Rachel saw them getting close again and she did her best to break it up.
She even refused to talk to Keanu afterwards when he tried to break the ice one on one. He betrayed her like Vinny betrayed him. Vinny also didn't need to tell Rachel that Keanu didn't fight for her. It's not like they would've chosen the other over him if need be.
