'Plumping' eye serum that is like 'a mini facelift' now half-price in Amazon deal - Daily Record

Dark circles and puffiness under the eyes is a common modern day issue. From staring at screens all day to a lack of sleep, our eyes go through a lot.

That's why it is worth investing in the right skincare to make us look and feel more energised, and we have spotted one eye serum that is said to feel like a "mini face lift" - and it's enjoying a half-price discount on Amazon.

It's L'Oréal Paris' Revitalift Eye Filler Serum that has been designed to target everything from crows feet to dark bags. Originally costing £31.99 for a 20ml bottle, it is now available to buy for a much cheaper £15.93.

Billed as "the number one eye serum in the world", it has earned a legion of devoted fans for its powerful formula that has been validated by dermatologists for providing visible results on the delicate eye area.

It boasts 1.5 per cent hyaluronic acid to "deeply hydrate" and "replump" skin, while one per cent caffeine works to target the appearance of those pesky dark circles by "reenergising" the skin.

Meanwhile, the eye serum uses a unique triple bead cooling applicator that can help provide a gentle massage, while also working to reduce puffiness and leaving the eye area feeling "refreshed", especially when kept in the fridge.

Meanwhile, Clinique's £35 Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage (15ml) has also been infused with caffeine for a dose of energy, while the cooling rollerball applicator can help with puffiness.

For the beauty fans who aren't keen on the serum texture, then a suitable alternative worth adding into their daily skincare routine is The Inkey List's Caffeine Eye Cream (15ml) that costs a humble £10.

Those wanting to bag Amazon's half-price deal will want to know what reviews say, which is why it is worth knowing that the Revitalift Eye Filler Serum has a 4.3 rating from shoppers who have said: "Wrinkles? What wrinkles?"

One five-star review read: "It's like having a mini facelift every day! Have only been using for three days and a noticeable difference already around my eyes. A bit of a weird feeling to begin with as the serum dries on your skin you can feel everything tightening up.

"Really happy with the results so far - like everything else I try, I forgot to take pictures before I started using this so I can't prove by comparison. For the price, I recommend you give it a go!"

A second read: "The combination of hyaluronic acid and caffeine works wonders to revitalise my under-eye area. It truly does what it claims, plumping, brightening, and de-puffing my eyes.

"The 20ml size is generous, and a little goes a long way. I've noticed a visible difference in the appearance of my eyes since using this serum in just two days."

Not everyone found the formula to work well under makeup, as one three-star review read: "The product is very hydrating for under the eye.

"However, I really can't use it during the day as make up doesn't sit very well on top of it. I tried with different concealers but it still peels. So I opted to use it at night but, unfortunately, I will not be purchasing again."

But someone else raved: "Wrinkles? What wrinkles? I bought this after using my sister's when staying at her house; quick absorbing and cooling. I can literally see the difference each time I use it! In combination with cream, I can see my own fine lines disappearing!"

And another shopper who loved the eye serum said: "Literally saving my life! I looked so tired before using this but now it's part of my daily morning and evening routine. Has certainly reduced the puffiness and dark circles."

The L'Oréal Paris' Revitalift Eye Filler Serum (20ml) is available on Amazon for £15.93, down from £31.99.
