ITV The Chase viewers were left shouting at their televisions after one contestant botched one of the most "straightforward" questions imaginable. The drama erupted on the ITV quiz programme on Monday (September 1) as presenter Bradley Walsh introduced four fresh challengers - Ro, Jan, Sylvia, and Ally - as they attempted their fortune against Darragh "The Menace" Ennis.
Scottish contestant Ally stepped up initially and braced himself to tackle as many questions accurately in his cash builder round, reports the Express. During the opening question of the entire programme, he faced: "In a radiant complexion, what part of the face are described as rosy?" to which Ally replied: "Eyes."
As Bradley, appearing taken aback by his response, revealed the accurate answer was "cheeks", viewers erupted with "give me strength" online. Many raged over the mistake live on X.

"Rosy eyes! Give me strength, innit," one viewer declared. Another said: "How do you get the most obvious question wrong?".
A third joined in, stating: ""Rosy eyes", yeah if you've got the mother of all hangovers," and "Rosy freaking eyes? ! WTF!".
It was not the only blunder in the episode as Sylvia took her turn against the Chaser. Bagging an impressive £7k in her cash builder round, she fought Darragh all the way to the final question for a make-or-break win or lose during their head-to-head round.
But the volunteer worker gave a "ridiculous" answer to her dramatic final question, leaving fans in uproar once more. She was asked: "What term refers to varieties of tomatoes whose seeds have been passed down for generations?"
The options were Antique, Relic and Heirloom. Surprisingly, Sylvia opted for "Relic" as her answer and was soon sent home leaving her team down a player.
As she was informed that she was wrong and being sent home, Brad told her: "it had to be heirloom. It had to be." Fans agreed, with one saying: "Passed down, to the heir - heirloom. OBVIOUS". Another said: "The only answer there relating to something passed down was heirloom."
