Uzbekistan and Hungary Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 November, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrahimov held a meeting with József Rózsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as plans for joint work in 2026.

Both sides confirmed their intention to continue strengthening the partnership and to ensure its practical significance.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached to hold a series of joint activities, including political consultations between the foreign ministries, the next sessions of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and the Business Council, as well as organizing regional forums and university rectors' forums.
