Indie studio Resummon Studios LLC has released the official demo for Forsworn on Steam, offering a first journey into the corrupted world they have been shaping for two years. The demo opens the door to a realm shaped by divine conflict, tactical combat, and evolving party mechanics that form the core of the experience.
Forsworn unfolds in a land slowly collapsing under the weight of an ancient war among the gods. Heroes rise through divine intervention and step into a world of ruins, fading memories, and shifting loyalties among higher powers. Each fall becomes a moment of learning that strengthens the heroes for the challenges ahead. This creates a steady rhythm of growth and discovery within a world whose moral landscape is never simple.
The game blends tactical depth with a roguelite loop inspired by classics such as Divinity Original Sin, Baldur's Gate 3, and XCOM. Battles reward thoughtful positioning and a team that works in harmony, creating a space where abilities can link together in unexpected ways. Every run introduces new blessings, builds, and character shifts that reshape how players approach combat. The game can be experienced alone or with up to three players in cooperative play.
The demo highlights the systems that define the first act. Players can experiment with turn-based encounters that emphasize synergy and movement. It also features a progression system that grows with each attempt. Players can choose from five playable heroes with their own archetypes and evolving styles. More than two hundred items, blessings, and artifacts invite experimentation and steadily transform the possibilities in combat. The demo also offers a first look at the corrupted lands and the divine powers that influence them.
