The Colorado Buffaloes left Houston with another early season loss last Friday. There were many flaws on both sides of the ball in the 36-20 loss, which caught the attention of many, including Chad Brown. The Buffs great and former two-time All-American took to social media with his blunt assessment of what's going on in Boulder.

"Let's face facts. This is a struggling football team," Brown wrote on X. "We don't have a QB yet. We don't have a running game. We don't have a play caller who knows how to use his playmakers. We don't have a D that tackles well. We don't have a D that understands how to limit big plays. #BadBall."

This is the worst start in Sanders' tenure at Colorado. The 1-2 start comes with a scrappy Wyoming team coming to Folsom Field on Saturday night. If Colorado somehow can't enter the rest of Big 12 play with a .500 record, the calls for Coach Prime's job will get louder. So far this season the Buffs have rotated all three quarterbacks with no consistency. Kaidon Salter is expected to regain the starting role this week. He started the season as the No. 1 signal-caller before third-stringer Ryan Staub replaced him against Houston.

Overall, Colorado is averaging 23.7 points per game on offense, while allowing opponents an average of 430 yards per game. That's the worst of any Big 12 team heading into Week 4.

One of the biggest questions will be the direction of the offense going forward under Pat Shurmur. Sanders has Super Bowl-winning offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich on his staff, but he isn't calling plays. It may be time for a change.
