Gamethread: Syracuse Orange (4-3) vs. No. 13 Tennessee Volunteers (7-1)

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse Orange basketball team is back in action, hosting the 13th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers in the ACC/SEC Challenge from the JMA Wireless Dome.

Syracuse (4-3) is set to play its fourth straight quadrant one opponent in Tennessee (7-1). The Vols represent the last of the quadrant one variety in the non-conference schedule. Donnie Freeman will be unavailable for Syracuse with a lower-body injury. It will also mark the fourth straight game without Freeman.

On the other side, J.P. Estrella won't play for Tennessee after an ankle injury in the Player's Era after taking an awkward fall that sent him to the locker room vs. Kansas. Estrella was, at one point, a Syracuse recruit.

Seven NBA scouts will be on hand for Syracuse-Tennessee, including one G-League scout.

Tennessee leads the all-time series 5-3, including four straight wins over the Orange. Syracuse is a 7.5-point underdog in this one. The over/under is set at 146.5.
