AN inquest has opened into the death of man who was found collapsed in Southampton.
Craig Robert Rudkin, 51, of Marina Close, Boscombe Spa, Bournemouth, died at Southampton General Hospital on July 20, a court heard.
The inquest into his death was opened at Winchester Coroners' Court on Wednesday, October 29, by area coroner Nicholas Walker.

Mr Walker said that Mr Rudkin was found collapsed in Palmerston Park on July 14. He was taken to hospital, but deteriorated and died.
The coroner said that the preliminary cause of death, following a post-mortem, was pneumonia, acute alcohol intoxication, cannabinoid receptor agonist use, along with alcohol dependency and hepatic steatosis.
Mr Walker adjourned the inquest to take place at Winchester Coroners' Court on August 30, 2026.
