Pizza Hut had a "6-7" deal of its own, where patrons could redeem wings of any flavor for 67 cents
Gen Alpha and their latest earworm slang, "6-7," has made its way on to menus nationwide and Domino's is the latest to jump on the bandwagon.
The pizza chain launched its "6-7 deal" on Monday, Nov. 3, offering customers a large one-topping pizza for $6.70. There are many to choose from, with meat options including Pepperoni, bacon, sausage, beef, ham, chicken, anchovies and Philly steak.
For those who prefer veggies, there are mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives, pineapple, tomatoes, jalapeños, spinach, banana peppers and roasted red peppers.
The deal can be redeemed in-store and online or through the Domino's Pizza app with the coupon code "67."
While many do not entirely know the reason why the trend began, a Domino's spokesperson pointed out, "If you have to hear about 'six seeeven' nonstop, you might as well get a delicious reward for it!"
Domino's isn't the only pizza chain to get in on the trend. Pizza Hut launched its own "6-7" deal with a "6 7 Menu" on Nov. 6. The deal, which ended the following day, got customers breaded boneless wings for 67 cents each.
Customers had the option to choose from the shop's many sauces, including Buffalo Mild, Spicy Garlic, Buffalo Medium, Sweet Chili, Garlic Parmesan, Buffalo Burnin' Hot and Honey BBQ, along with the dry rub options: Lemon Pepper and Cajun-Style.
Still not sure what "6-7" means or why the youngest generation keeps screaming it every chance they get? Well, the phrase's popularity stems from a lyric in the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by Skrilla. The line refers to NBA player LaMelo Ball and his incredible 6'7'' height.
While there's no clear path as to how the one line blew up seemingly overnight, it's taken the youth by storm. Even Dictionary.com has acknowledged its confusing significance, crowning the phrase as 2025's word of the year.
