The Drum's annual World Creative Rankings returns on February 25, where you'll be able to see the most-awarded people, companies and campaigns in one place.
Our benchmarking draws on data from the most prestigious international awards and is the only study of its kind to name the most-awarded people: CCOs, ECDs, creative directors, copywriters and art directors.
On launch day, our dedicated hub will reveal the results in an easily digestible form and, this year, we're offering even deeper insight by revealing new data splits such as the most successful individuals in each global region.
Following launch, we will publish editorial analysis to guide you through the results. Expect interviews with leading creative talent, those who are delivering winning work at top-performing agencies, networks and holding companies, plus the people creating the most decorated campaigns. A free summary report will also be available to download.
Last year, DDB beat VML and Ogilvy to the top spot as the most awarded agency networks. Meanwhile, WPP - which owns VML and Ogilvy - topped the most awarded holding company list.
In 2024, WPP CEO Mark Read, after topping the holding company table and seeing his network agencies perform well, told The Drum: "Our investment in creativity really is paying off and you see it in the work that we produce for clients."
The most-awarded advertiser in 2024 was drinks giant ABInBev, which came in ahead of Unilever, Mondelez and Apple. It has been a strong start to the year already for ABInBev as its CMO Marcel Marcondes won the World Federation of Advertisers Global Marketer of the Year - an accolade that is awarded in partnership with The Drum.
Last year, Rethink was the most-awarded independent agency. Its biggest achievement was topping The World's Most Awarded Agencies table, where it saw off competition from other independents and network agencies.
VML global chief creative officer Debbi Vandeven was the world's most-awarded chief creative officer in 2024 and Ogilvy global chief creative officer Liz Taylor was the first woman to top the table in 2023. With Taylor and Vandeven battling it out for the top spot in recent years, we're poised to reveal who this year's winner will be on February 25.
