Mitch Rogers, a staff member of the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama, will serve as the interim CEO after Jennifer Maddox announced her retirement from that position. Rogers is also the interim president.

Coming onboard in 2005, Rogers, who holds an MBA and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation, first joined the foundation as a volunteer and grant reviewer. He later became director of scholarships and initiatives in 2016, expanding his role to include partnerships and operations.
