Comedian Matt Rife is no stranger to the SouthCoast.
Since moving to Rhode Island in the summer of 2024, Rife has been making the rounds, crashing various events, popping up at bars and restaurants in the area to perform his standup.
Last year, he rang in the New Year in Warwick, RI. Now, he's bringing the laughs to Boston for a New Year's Eve performance.
Rife will take the stage at TD Garden in Boston for an 8 p.m. show on December 31. The actor and comedian shared the news on social media.
"I have a show at Boston Garden, one of my favorite venues in the entire world. I'm very excited about it," Rife said.
Matt Rife: Stay Golden Tour kicked off on September 14 in Missouri and will continue across the country through September of 2026.
"Laugh for a couple hours. End the year on a good note," Rife said.
The best part? You can still enjoy the countdown and your midnight kiss.
With an 8 p.m. showtime, there's plenty of time left in the night to continue your NYE plans or simply head home to ring in 2026 in your PJs.
"I will be done by 10:30. That gives us plenty of time to do everything," Rife said. "We will be in the club or on the cobblestone streets puking our brains out the way our forefathers intended."
If you're interested in seeing Rife take the stage, act fast. Per his website, many shows are sold out or have a limited number of tickets remaining.
