BELOIT - The 100th anniversary of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York will include two seniors from Beloit Turner High School.

The first parade was held on Nov. 27, 1924 to promote the newly expanded Macy's. Herald Square store and holiday sales. The parade was originally called the Macy's Christmas Parade.
