The WBUR Festival lineup features Ira Glass, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Roxane Gay, Kara Swisher, Ina Garten and Jamelle Bouie

Cue the confetti. WBUR turns 75 this year, and we're throwing a one-of-a-kind party. Join us at The WBUR Festival. We kick off on Thursday, May 29 with a live taping of NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! and run through Saturday, May 31. The three-day lineup will be a convergence of fascinating people grappling with the most consequential issues. Big speakers, captivating conversations, musical performances, multiple stages and a lively street scene.

"The WBUR Festival is our love letter to Boston and all the people who have fueled our success," said Margaret Low, the CEO of WBUR. "It will be serious stuff and wicked fun, too. We can't wait to see you there."

Along with the WBUR and NPR journalists you know and love, the first wave of speakers and performers includes:

Ira Glass, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Roxane Gay, Kara Swisher, Ina Garten, Jamelle Bouie, Busy Philipps, Martin Baron, Paul Krugman, Gina McCarthy, Michael Barbaro, Linda Henry, Sebastian Junger, Melissa Gilliam, Viet Thanh Nguyen and Dr. Kimberlé Crenshaw -- plus Alisa Amador, Sam Sanders, Ray Magliozzi, Rachel Martin and many more.

Tickets for The WBUR Festival are now on sale. Don't miss your chance to secure your spot at wburfestival.org.
